Our Busy Weekend

This past weekend was really great! We went to Louisiana to visit Jeff's grandparents and to go to the A&M vs. LSU football game. The game didn't turn out like we wanted it to, but we had a great time with friends and family.

Jeff's brother Brent drove, so William and I were hanging out in the back seat. Thankfully he slept most of the time and I was able to work on my hexies. I love working on these in the car.

Friday morning we went to a Thanksgiving presentation at our cousin Quincy and Noah's school. William had a blast climbing on the roots of this huge tree.

Then later in the day, I taught Quincy how to make hexies :) she loved it and picked it up really quickly! I think I will be getting her a little sewing kit for Christmas.

Plus I worked on my hexies some more! I love these things. I am using the Tula Pink charms I got from the Tula Pink Charm Sqaure Swap I did a few months ago.

Saturday morning a huge cold front blew in and it was freezing cold and raining, but we went to the football game anyway.

My first time going to Tiger Stadium aka Death Valley. It was pretty cool, but Kyle Field is way better :)

All bundled up in jackets and ponchos. Jeff was ready to leave before the game even started because his shoes had a hole in them and his feet were wet and frozen :(

Jeff's cousin Taylor and brother Brent in their LSU gear :( Thankfully we have a friend rivalry in this family and there were no hard feelings.

We got to see Johnny Football play football lol unfortunaltely it was not a very good game for him :(

And my favorite the Fighting Texas Aggie Band! They were fantastic as always. We actually ended up leaving the game after the band played because it was sooo darn cold, the sun was going down, and it started to rain again. It was nice to get back to Granny & Paw's house to have some food and thaw out from being out in the cold.

William playing with toys Sunday morning.
We had a lazy Sunday morning filled with more family and food before heading home to Houston. Now it's time to get back into the swing of things with sewing and my other mom duties lol

How were y'alls weekends?
