Holy cow! I can not even begin to express how excited I am about being in the Top 16 for the Sewvivor competition going on over at Family Ever After! I sketched out my idea for the nautical theme for challenge #1 and I really love it, and I think that it will be super unique :)

I'd share pictures of the sketch, but I don't want to give away the surprise. Tonight I am hoping to sketch out/organize my ideas for the other challenges. I know I'll only have to do them if I move on past the nautical challenge, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

So since I don't have anything else to share I'll leave you with a picture of my lovely handwork I've been doing recently. I love having a cross-stitch to work on in the evenings.

I have fallen in love with the patterns from The Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery They are so stinking cute! This is the Once Upon a Time Sampler. It has been going on since January, but I just started a couple weeks ago. I think I've made pretty good progress so far :)

**Don't forget that you have until Wednesday to enter the Folk Art Holiday Giveaway**

  2. Congratulations! Absolutely LOVE that quilt :) Good luck with the rest of the challenge!! :)

  3. While I am not into stitchery, I do have some beautiful ones on my walls I was fortunate to receive as gifts from good friends. Yours is so pretty and I look forward to seeing the rest of it. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

  4. I am so proud of you Hilary! I am biased, but I think your quilt is the best! (I am your mother, though!!) Your Granny Smith would be so proud too! Love you oodles!!
