WIP Wednesday

With the holidays coming up I have been busy busy busy with sewing and getting orders from my Etsy shop finished up.

The other night I was freezing but wanted to do something crafty, so I grabbed this unfinished x-stitch and worked on it in bed. I started this when I first found out I was pregnant with William and I was determined to get if finished before he was born.
I was so close to having it done (only needed detail stitching) and I told Jeff I would have it done before our son was born..... the next day he showed up 2 weeks early!

I had 3 more stocking orders to work on and I actually just received 1 more a couple hours ago. BTW if you sell on Etsy you should download the app for your phone. Every time you make a sale, it makes a ca-ching noise like a cash register! It is pretty awesome!

Last night I started this project for my Grammo's Christmas present. She asked for a quilt a couple months ago, but I knew there was no way I could get it done before Christmas.
So I am making her this pillow, and then after the holidays I am going to make her a quilt to go with it.

I hope she likes it. When she asked for a quilt she said she didn't like bright colors and she didn't want it to look like the quilts from Wal-Mart.... not 100% sure what that meant lol
She likes neutral yellows and golds, but I wanted to give her a slight pot of color so I added in a bit of ice blue and green.

I also made William this appliqued shirt to go with his Howard Pants that I made him a couple of weeks ago.
This plus the pants are going to be his outfit for Christmas Day and I am super excited about how cute he is going to look. I was going to take his picture to show this off better beforehand, but I don't want to take the chance of him getting it dirty lol He's a walked mess sometimes!

I've also been working on the bazillion other things on my to-do list. I am hoping to have most/if not all of them done by next week. Wish me luck!

What have you been working on this week?
