Ugh

I haven't gotten my haircut since February, and it is really starting to frustrate me :( I've got really long (like down to my boobs) thick hair. I was growing it out for the longest time but ow I am thinking I want to chop it off. 90% of the time I pull it back in a ponytail, so I don't think I will miss it being long.

I feel like this most of the time. Especially with the horrible humidity in Houston.
I'm toying with doing something like this. It would be the shortest my hair has been in a while, but I think I am ready for a change that drastic.

This picture of Tina Fey is hilarious, but I really love how her hair is done here and I think I might like something like this. I love her color too. I've had grey hair since I was in high school and have been dying my hair ever since. I normally go for something more out there (I dyed it blond one time, and burgundy red another time) but I'm thinking I rather have something closer to my natural color.

I have an interview next week, and I feel like I should get it done before then. :/ any suggestions? I'm kinda stumped.

  1. I think the short hair would look really cute on you! My hair is now a little past my boobs and longer than it's ever been, but I can't seem to muster up the courage to cut it!

  2. bobs are such cute cuts! i had one for the longest time and i loved it... well, except for having to do my hair everyday because of houston's humidity. also, i missed throwing my hair back in a pony tail... especially out of my toddler's reach!
    good luck with the decision!

  3. Yes, do it. It would look fabulous on you. Your face shape would adorn the hair wonderfully. I believe you would feel more chic and it looks long enough to wear up if you had to. Guess what...it'll grow back if you hate it. I don't think you will, such a classic cut will carry you through your life. Bobs change with each season, but have staying power. No matter your choice you are darling.
