Houston Traffic

This post is a rant. Throwing that out there at the very beginning.

Houston Traffic SUCKS!

Before moving here I always despised Houston because of the traffic. I was an outsider coming into this very busy place and I hated whenever I had to drive. 

Now that we live in Houston, I thought it would get better. That I would get used to how terrible the traffic is... I haven't. At least not yet. It might happen sometime, but we'll have to wait and see. For now I find myself having an obscene amount of road rage. 

I'm one of those people that will yell at others while driving. (I need to watch what I say because William is starting to copy me)

It's not so much about the traffic either. It's the people. Houston drivers drive like they never took drivers ed. They go super fast and pay no attention to the rules. 

People run red-lights ALL THE TIME. I saw a guy turn left on red today because the intersection was empty. I guess he thought it was a good idea... the funny part was the light literally turned green right after he turned.

Well I feel better now that I got that off of my mind. Do y'all have any driving pet-peeves or woes?
