WIP Wednesday

I'm bummed that I haven't had more time to work on projects recently, but I got a little bit done once we got home from apartment hunting on Sunday.

My Craftsy Block of the Month 2012 blocks are coming along amazingly. I am really starting to love that I am using the scraps from projects I have made for William because it is turning into a super bright and fun quilt. This quilt is part of my Lovely Year of Finishes. I'm hoping to have the quilt top completed for my April goal!

I'm quickly making this shirt for William for our upcoming trip to Disney (i.e. I really need to finish this because we leave on Friday!) This is my very first attempt at doing machine applique (actually I think this is my first applique ever) and I am excited about how it looks. I used this awesome tutorial from Anne Marie over at Gen X Quilters.

My poor Shining Stars BOM has been neglected so far this month, but I am hoping to get to it soon. Maybe I will tackle it during William's nap time today.

Well that's it for me :) What are you working on this week?

  1. I do like the craftsy blocks! Great Disney shirt, too.
