Getting Ready for Disney World

In exactly one month, we are going to Disney World for William's and my nephew Jack's first Walt Disney World vacation. We have always been a Disney family, and when William was born I couldn't wait to share my love of Disney with him. The first time my parents took us was when I was 4 years old, and from that point on we were hooked. Since then, we have been numerous times and I worked there for 5 months. I am beyond excited for the trip because I haven't been back to Disney since I participated in the Disney College Program in 2009.

Myself and my "boss", Mickey Mouse :)

For my College Program, I was given the opportunity to be a Skipper on the World Famous Jungle Cruise and I LOVED it! It was amazing to get to interact with guests so closely, and I loved all of my fellow Skippers : ) We got to goof around and be silly most of the day. If anyone has been on the Jungle Cruise, you understand how goofy it really is.

Our final time around the jungle as Skippers. Greg, Elise, Myself, Jorge, Jesus, Kelly, Sonya, & Luke.

One last picture in my fabulous work attire :)

Good-bye Jungle Cruise! I will always love you :)

During my College Program my family came to visit me in December for Christmas, and I was thrilled that they were able to :) This was what we thought would be our last trip to Disney with all 5 of us, but we are happy to be wrong about that.

Silly hats!
When we first started going to Disney, we would always buy the crazy hats that they have. The more we went, we came to realize that taking a picture wearing the hat is much less expensive than having a slew of Disney hats you only wear once. It is now pretty much a tradition of ours to take pictures in all the crazy hats :)
I never knew my mom was so gangster :)
We're a family of Bounty Hunters!

Being a part of the Disney College Program was one of the most amazing experiences of my college career. It was something I had always wanted to do, and I grew so much as a person because of it. I tell Jeff all the time, that if he ever gets the opportunity to work in the Orlando area to take it because I would LOVE to work for Disney again.

Ok back to our upcoming vacation :)

Some people think that we are crazy for taking two little boys to Disney while they are so young. Heck I think we are a tad bit crazy, but it's going to be an adventure! The greatest thing about having traveled to Disney so many times, is that we don't feel the need to rush to see everything. If the babies need a nap in the middle of the day, then we'll go take a nap. Let's be honest, I think we're all going to need a nap :)

In preparation for this adventure, I have started making an extensive packing list. As I have gotten older, I have discovered that I am definitely a list maker. Babies require so much extra stuff, and I want to make sure that nothing gets forgotten. I am even going to brave cloth diapering William while at Disney. Luckily the Disney Vacation Club resorts have a washer and dryer in each room, so I don't have to worry about where to do laundry.

I'll post my finished list and picture of what we've packed when it gets closer to when we leave for our trip. Does anyone have some pointers on traveling to Disney with little ones? I found that Kristin over at Couponing to Disney has some great tips and tricks!
