Hello October!

As the last day of September comes to a close, I am overjoyed with excitement because October and Halloween are my two favorite things! Yeah Christmas is awesome, but there is something about Halloween that puts me in a fantastic mood. There's carving pumpkins, eating all sorts of pumpkin creations, Trick-or-Treating, and costumes!

Like always I have been all over Pinterest looking for amazing decorating ideas and recipes to make this Halloween amazing! Here are a few of my favorites that I plan on tackling in the coming month:

I love everything about candy corn, so when I saw these cupcakes I fell in love. After some intense searching, I found the original recipe over at Our Best Bites. It looks super easy to make (it starts with a box mix!) and they give great pointers in the post on how to frost your cupcakes so they look extra beautiful.

I really want to make a BOO sign like this for our front door. The other day I saw glow-in-the-dark Mod Podge, and I think that would look awesome. You can head on over to Then she made... and check out the super easy directions on how to make your own BOO sign.

Like I said before, October is about eating all kinds of pumpkin creations, and if you head on over to Lil' Luna you can find 50 wonderful pumpkin recipes.

I definitely want to make this Trick-or-Treat bag for William. I think it is the most adorable thing ever, and much nicer than the cheap ones you find at the store. the Fabric Mill blog has an amazing step by step tutorial on how to make one!

Last but not least, are these wonderful looking pumpkin scones. I found them over at Will Cook for Smiles and I am ready to make a batch and have them for breakfast every single day!

I hope everyone enjoyed this October & Halloween excitement as much as I did! I think it is time to start baking and crafting.
