Country Living Fair
This past weekend my mom, grandma, and I ventured out to the Country Living Fair in Austin. We bought the weekend pass which turned out to be a great deal because the second day my grandma was worn out so my dad decided to go with us on Saturday. And of course little William was there too.
We had a great time at the fair and walked way with some pretty amazing finds. Our first day there, I found a lid for my mom's Toms Peanut jar and my mom found a super cute baby plate that has a music box as a base. Day two I remembered my camera, so I was able to snap some pictures of some of the fabulous booths that were there.
As you can see it was pretty busy. I felt bad a few times because I ran over a couple people with William's stroller. On the second day, my Dad found some 100 year old barn door castors and I bought some delicious pumpkin bread,a Country Living Fair t-shirt, and my Mom found a cute pillow.
I fell in love with these chairs by Happy Chair! They are so amazingly adorable and actually quite comfortable too. I would love to have one of these as a reading chair!
This vintage thread box is absolutely amazing but the $600 the sellers wanted for it was not amazing :(
These rolling pins caught my eye and I just had to take a picture of them. I love the colorful handles and the way they displayed them in a wine rack.
My Dad spotted this first and the instant I saw it I got excited! Jeff and I watch History channel all the time and we love Ricks Restoration. The only other place I have seen one of these stamp vending machines was on that show! I thought this was so cool and I really wanted to get it, but I couldn't think of a place we could put it.
This booth had some really awesome things and the woman working the booth is an Aggie class of '76! We had an awesome conversation and I am excited to head to Giddings and check out the store where all these goodies are normally!
My parents having a great time! My Mom fell in love with this little house and wanted to take a picture in front of it with my Dad.
Last but not least, William being the little cutie that he is! He did such a good job on both days, and he loved all the attention that he got!
